The FCC has a new map showing where internet service is and is not available across the country. We need your help to ensure the information on the map about the internet services available to your home or small business is accurate. Each member needs to determine location accuracy and access to broadband service.

Type your address in the search bar and select the best match from the list that displays. Your location will appear as a point on the map, along with information about internet services offered at the location below the map.

Red locations indicate that no internet services are reported for that location.

If one of the services listed is not actually offered to the selected location, you can select the availability challenge link.

With your help, the map will be more accurate and an accurate map is an important tool for expanding internet services to all Americans.

Volunteers install the FCC Speed Test App, either directly or through an app store such as Google Play or iTunes. The app is available for Android phones from Google Play and for iPhone from the Apple App Store. It is free, but carrier charges may apply. 

The privacy of volunteers is a top priority. The app collects data anonymously, without any personally identifiable information. Users do not register or sign up to install the app. All participation is voluntary, and volunteers may quit at any time.
