Dr. Mark Johnson has made an invaluable investment in PWC through the establishment of the clinic's fatherhood program. Through one-on-one interaction, fatherhood volunteers connect with men at a time when mentorship is most needed. Dr. Johnson is retiring from this position and is shown above "passing the baton" to Derrick Abell, interim coordinator. 

Derrick is the Executive Pastor at Fellowship of Grace. The church has been a strong supporter of PWC, and the partnership with Derrick is another example of that kingdom connection. Derrick lives in Parkville with his wife and three children (ages 13, 11, 9). Derrick says he enjoys helping people fulfill God's dream for their lives, and loves the opportunity the fatherhood mentors get to encourage men!

PWC Trivia Night is an evening of entertainment supporting the family-building work of the clinic. More than 175 people attended, and the event netted $9,000+. Monies raised will support the young adult outreach throughout the year. Fellowship of Grace Church won the competition for the second year. Much thanks to Rock KC for helping to underwrite the Trivia Night!
